I've done a few paper piecing patterns before and the cutting guides on this one are genuinely clear, which saved me a lot of guessing on the first block. The curves aren't as fussy as they look once you get going.

The curve templates in this pattern made the piecing way easier than I expected, and the layout sheets kept me from second-guessing every seam. I finished the whole wall hanging in a weekend, which never happens.

I was worried the curve templates would be fiddly, but they're printed clearly enough that my first block came together in one evening. Paper piecing patterns like this make the whole quilt feel less intimidating.
