Tula Pink的Tumbling Cosmos

The hexagon blocks mixed into the tumbling pattern make this way more interesting than a standard quilt design. Fabric choices in the True Color line are gorgeous together, and the EPP instructions were clear enough that I finished my first block in an evening.

I've never done English paper piecing before and the hexagon blocks in this pattern were surprisingly forgiving for a beginner. The fabric pulls from that bright True Color palette, so it looks way less traditional than a normal tumbling blocks quilt.

I've never done English paper piecing before, and the Tumbling Blocks layout here actually made me want to try it instead of scaring me off. The hexagon blocks come together in a way that feels modern rather than fussy heirloom. Already picked out my fabrics.
