Sully’s lanky limbs and little spider sidekick are what sold me, and he’s turned into the cutest Halloween project on my table. The English paper piecing layout is clever enough that each section feels like its own mini-win. I’m already plotting where he’ll hang once he’s all stitched up.

The pieces fit together so precisely that even his lanky limbs and little spider sidekick lined up perfectly the first time. I’ve already got him posed on my mantel with his jack-o’-lantern, and he adds just the right spooky touch.

I was a little intimidated by the idea of English Paper Piecing, but the lanky limbs and jack-o'-lantern made this project so fun to piece together. Sully's got so much personality, and the spider sidekick almost makes me forget how much time I spent on those tiny seams.
