Karen Combs 的 Shaded Log Cabin

The paper pieces are laser-cut with such precision that every seam line matched perfectly as I sewed them together. This pattern really helped me visualize how color placement creates depth in a traditional log cabin block.

The paper piecing templates in this pattern make each log cabin block crisp and precise. I’ve already finished three blocks and love how the shaded colors create depth. The instructions are clear enough for someone new to EPP like me.

I finally understand how to manage those tricky color transitions—the pre-printed shapes make it so much easier to keep track of where each fabric goes. The finished block has a lovely, subtle depth that really shows off the log cabin design.
