The cutting diagrams are so clear that I had my first block assembled in under an hour, and the 3-D effect really pops when you step back from the finished 33-inch cube. It’s a clever project that looks much harder than it actually is.

I’ve always loved optical illusions and this cube pattern totally delivered—the diamond shapes really pop once you arrange the fabric. The sewing diagrams were clear enough for me to follow without any trouble, even on a tricky part.
