5-1/2" Sunburst

The acrylic template is just the right thickness to hold steady while I rotary cut around the curves—no slipping. The pre-printed lines on the papers matched up perfectly too, so my points came out

Cut my first sunburst block in an afternoon and the 5-1/2" size is perfect for a small wall hanging. The paper pieces line up cleanly with the templates, though you do have to buy those separately. Already planning a second one in blues.

The acrylic templates are worth every penny for getting those curved seams lined up just right. I've made three blocks so far and the pieces fit together with barely any trimming.
