Evelyn ★★★★★

I've done a few of Irene Blanck's patterns and this one might be my favorite — the 1860 Lucy Kemper reproduction has such a delicate look, and the pattern breaks the appliqué into manageable sections. The freezer paper templates saved me a ton of prep time.

Lily H. ★★★★★

The appliqué templates in this pattern are so clearly drawn that my first block came out almost perfectly symmetrical. It's an interpretation of an 1860 quilt, and you can really feel that history in the layout. Already picking fabrics for a second one.

Timothy ★★★★★

I've never done needleturn appliqué before and the diagrams in this 1860 reproduction pattern actually made it click for me. The block layouts are clear enough that I could trace my own pieces without guessing. Three blocks in and my points are already sharper.
