This simple design relies on sorting fabrics by light and dark values to create a diamond pattern. Accented by a double frame, this quilt is perfect for a doll bed or small wall hanging. Jo Morton is a quilt maker, fabric designer, teacher, author, and lecturer. Using antique quilts as her source of inspiration, Jo's quilts have the distinct feeling of being made in the 19th century. She has been hand piecing since the 1980's and prefers to make small quilts because they are quick to stitch together and are perfect for decorating your home. Finished size: 20-1/2" x 24-3/4".

Benjamin Y. ★★★★★

Sorting the lights and darks was surprisingly satisfying, and the finished diamond pattern really pops against that double frame. It’s a quick, rewarding project for a small space.

Thomas B. ★★★★★

The double frame adds such a polished finish, and I love how the diamond pattern emerges just by playing with light and dark fabrics. Perfect size for a small wall hanging.

Richard ★★★★★

The double frame really anchors the design and makes the diamonds pop. I used it for a small wall hanging and the finished size is just perfect for that space.
