Michael E. ★★★★★

The 5-1/2 inch blocks make this pattern ideal for using up smaller fabric scraps. Stitching those tiny pieces together was surprisingly meditative.

Charlotte ★★★★★

The finished 44-inch square is perfect for draping over a chair without overwhelming the room, and those 5-1/2 inch blocks hold their points beautifully even up close. It's a satisfying weekend project that makes you feel like a precision quilter.

Aurora ★★★★★

The instructions for piecing together those 5-1/2 inch blocks were surprisingly clear, making the miniature Alaska quilt a fun weekend project. I love how the finished 44-inch square looks like a cozy little throw for my reading nook.
