John B. ★★★★★

The star points come together so cleanly with English paper piecing, and the pattern layout made it easy to keep my fabric choices organized. I finished the center medallion in a weekend, which never happens for me.

Riley ★★★★★

I've done a few of Carl Hentsch's patterns now and this one is my favorite so far, the star points actually line up without me fudging anything. Cutting the papers took a while, but the finished block was worth it.

Owen P. ★★★★☆

The pattern instructions are clear and the star shapes come together beautifully, though I wish there were a few more diagrams for the trickier angles.
