This modern wall hanging has the illusion of being complex and random, but is based on six different Star Blocks that are simply rotated. The stars are connected by hexagons, allowing the colorful fabrics to shine through the blocks. Quilt around the stars to accent the shapes.

This quilt is layer cake and fat-quarter friendly!

Madison ★★★★★

The rotating star blocks made assembly surprisingly straightforward, and the finished piece has such a dynamic look on my wall. I love how the hexagon connectors tie everything together without feeling cluttered.

Emily ★★★★★

The hexagon connectors make the stars feel cohesive, and the layout is simpler than it looks once you start laying out the blocks. I love how rotating the same few star patterns creates that modern, random effect. The finished piece adds nice texture to my living room wall.

Eva ★★★★★

I was a little worried the pattern would look chaotic, but rotating those six star blocks makes it feel so intentional and modern. The hexagon connections also give it a nice geometric flow that dress up my blank wall perfectly.
