Shattered Dresden

I’d been hesitant to try English paper piecing, but this pattern’s pre-cut paper pieces made it so easy to get started. The Dresden design comes together beautifully, and the templates are crisp and accurate.

The step-by-step diagrams in this pattern made the Dresden curves finally click for me, and the paper pieces held their shape perfectly through every seam. I’ve already got two more projects queued up using this same method.

The paper pieces are pre-cut perfectly, so I didn't have to fuss with templates while basting. Carl's pattern gives the Dresden a fresh, angular twist that kept my seams tidy throughout the whole project.
