윌리네 하머슈타인의 Memories of Asia

The pre-cut paper pieces saved me hours of tracing and cutting, and the acrylic templates make fussy-cutting the millefiori shapes way easier than I expected. Finished top came out right around 43 by 51 inches, matching the pattern.

I've never attempted English paper piecing before, and having every single shape already cut for this quilt made it way less intimidating than I expected. The acrylic templates match the papers exactly, which matters a lot when you're fussy cutting those tiny Asian print motifs.

The acrylic templates are sturdy and the seams line up beautifully once you get the hang of the fussy cutting. My only gripe is that the paper pieces are a bit fiddly to separate on the smaller shapes. Still, the finished top measures out exactly as stated.
