Bow Ties 1 & 2

I've done a lot of English paper piecing and these bow tie shapes are cut precisely enough that the points actually line up. The pattern is simple to follow, and I finished a whole row of them in one evening.

The pre-cut paper pieces for these bow ties are exactly the right weight, they hold a crisp fold without tearing when I needle through them. I've finished three blocks for a quilt border and the shapes line up beautifully every time.

I was a bit intimidated by the EPP process at first, but the pattern’s clear diagrams made assembly straightforward. The precut papers fit together nicely, though I wish the package included a few extra for practice.
