カール・ヘンチ作 カピストラーノのツバメ

I love how the pattern captures the swooping motion of the swallows. The triangular paper piecing shapes fit together cleanly and make the birds feel alive.

The paper piecing templates in this pattern make it so easy to achieve sharp, precise points on the swallow wings. The way the birds seem to swoop across the sky really captures that California mission feel. Already planning my color choices for the next one.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the pattern captured the swallows' flight paths; the paper pieces fit together precisely without any fraying edges.
