The hexie rows really do mimic rolling waves once you lay them out — such a clever, beachy design. I’m a slow piecer, but the instructions kept me moving along, and the finished 42" x 59" throw is exactly what I hoped for. Already planning a second one in brighter colors.

The waves of hexies come together faster than I expected, and the finished 42" x 59" size is perfect for a lap quilt. The colors in the pattern really capture that sunny beach vibe without being too fussy.

I was worried the hexies would be fiddly, but the rows actually line up into those wave shapes pretty easily once you get going. The 42" x 59" finished size is perfect for a beach throw, and I finished the whole top in a weekend.
