I was a little nervous about the pre-order wait, but the paper pieces in this kit are cut with such precision that my curves matched up perfectly the first time. The movement in the print design really comes alive once you start stitching it together.

The printed fabric choices in the kit create such a lively sense of movement when the curves are pieced together. I spent a whole afternoon just laying out the fan shapes, and the colors pop beautifully against a neutral background.

The curve templates lie completely flat against my cutting mat, which makes the fussy cutting almost meditative instead of tedious. I’ve already traced out two blocks and the rhythm of those repeated prints is even more striking in person than in the photos.
