The pattern's large-scale piecing went together faster than I expected, and the paper foundations kept everything perfectly aligned. I love how the finished block really captures that layered, woodland feel.

I was nervous about tackling this pattern since I'm still pretty new to foundation paper piecing, but the way each section is numbered and color-coded makes it feel almost foolproof. Finished my first block in an afternoon and the piece came together perfectly.

The diagrams are laid out so clearly that I barely had to reference the written steps—everything just clicked. I’m already planning my fabric pull for a second go at it.
