6" Storm At Sea Finishing Blocks

The laser-cut acrylic blocks are remarkably clear and stack perfectly flat, making it easy to see my seam allowances through them. I've used them on three different Storm at Sea projects and each time the angles line up exactly right. A simple but excellent tool for this classic block.

I was pleasantly surprised by how precise the acrylic templates are for cutting fabric — they made aligning the curved seams so much easier. The set includes multiple useful sizes, which saved me from buying separate pieces for different block sections.

The 6-inch blocks feel solid in hand, and the acrylic is thick enough that I don't worry about them warping during a long quilting session. The set's variety let me lay out a whole Storm at Sea block without hunting for missing pieces, and the paper pieces made marking a breeze. I've already ordered
