The acrylic template is rigid enough to trace around without slipping, and the 1-1/2" size works perfectly for my hand-stitched hexagon quilt blocks. It’s a solid tool for the price, though I wish the paper pieces came in a resealable bag for storage.

I needed something sturdy for my EPP project and these half hexagons are cut cleanly, which makes basting a breeze. The only tiny downside is the paper pieces don't include a template, so you have to buy that separately if you want to pre-cut fabric accurately.
