I've been quilting for years and this dodecagon template makes cutting those twelve-sided pieces so much easier than tracing by hand. The acrylic is thick enough that my rotary cutter doesn't nick the edge, which was always my problem with flimsier templates.

I bought the acrylic template and paper pieces separately, and honestly the acrylic is thick enough that my rotary cutter doesn't wander at all. Cutting twelve identical sides used to take forever with a paper pattern, but this made quick work of a whole quilt top.
