Wild is the Wind by Willyne Hammerstein

I bought the starter pack for the Millefiori quilt and the paper pieces are cut so precisely that my first rosette came together with almost no trimming. The finished size works out to about 52 x 72, which is bigger than I expected for a paper pieced project. Two evenings in and I'm already hooked.

The acrylic templates make fussy cutting so much faster than tracing paper pieces by hand. I've finished four blocks and the points line up perfectly every time. The starter pack had everything I needed to begin the quilt without ordering extra pieces.

I cut my first Millefiori block with these paper pieces last weekend and the edges lined up so cleanly that the curved seams practically sewed themselves. Finishing at 52-3/4" x 72-1/2" feels ambitious, but the starter pack makes starting way less intimidating.
