I was nervous about the curves in this quilt but the instructions break every step down so clearly that I finished the top in a weekend. The fabric requirements are listed for multiple sizes, which saved me from guessing how much yardage to buy.

The cutting and piecing diagrams are clear enough that I didn't have to guess at seam allowances once. I've already got my fabric picked for a second one in cooler blues.

The curves in this pattern came together way easier than I expected, even for a fairly new quilter like me. Carl Hentsch's instructions are clear and the layout diagram alone saved me a ton of seam-ripping. Already picked out fabric for a second one.
