Star Mandala by Paper Pieces®

I'm working on this quilt right now and the scalloped edge really makes the mandala design pop. The pattern is surprisingly easy to follow once you get the layout going, even though it looks complex at first glance.

The colors in this quilt are so vibrant they almost glow, and the round scalloped edge makes it look far more intricate than it actually was to piece together. I love how the mandala pattern pulls you in from across the room.

The scalloped edge is what sold me—it gives the whole quilt such a polished, finished look without being overly fussy. Jackie Kunkel’s fabric line really makes the mandala design pop, and the vibrant colors are even prettier in person.
