SNOWFLAKE

Those hexagons are a great size to work with and the applique directions are laid out so clearly that I finally feel confident trying these blocks. I've already finished two snowflakes and the pattern is going to keep me busy all winter.

The hexagons are the perfect size for fussy-cutting those tiny floral prints, and the directions for both piecing and applique mean I can mix techniques across the nine blocks. Finally got one finished last night and the points all lined up beautifully.

I love that each snowflake block can be either pieced or appliquéd, and the 9 full-size designs make it easy to mix and match for a whole quilt. The pattern directions are laid out clearly, so I’ve been able to work through the hexagons without any confusion so far.
