The kaleidoscope blocks really pop against the plain squares, making the design look intricate without being a headache to piece. I’ve had fun working through the English Paper Piecing steps, and the wall-hanging size is perfect for a quick, satisfying project.

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly the kaleidoscope blocks came together using this pattern—the layout really does speed up the construction. The finished wall hanging has a clean, balanced look that lets each block stand out.

The English paper piecing pieces fit together so precisely that I felt like a pro even as a beginner. Finished the top in just two weekends thanks to the well-thought-out layout.
