كالاني بقلم كارل هنتش

The way the alternating blocks create those unexpected secondary patterns is just mesmerizing. I've been playing with different fabric placements and each new combination reveals a fresh design.

I wasn’t expecting the alternating blocks to create such a hypnotic wave effect once I laid out the first few rows—it’s like the quilt has its own rhythm. The pieced designs lock together perfectly without any puckering, which made assembly a pleasure.

I was amazed at how the alternating block pattern creates such unexpected secondary designs as you step back from the quilt. The waves feel almost tropical, just like the description says, and the whole thing came together more easily than I thought it would.
