I’ve sewn a lot of hexie patterns, and the way this one angles the petals to join the diamonds is genuinely fresh. It took me a few tries to wrap my head around the connection points, but the final layout has such a soft, rhythmic flow that I’m already planning a second quilt.

The hexie-petal arrangement is really clever, and the way they connect with diamonds makes the whole layout feel fresh. I love how each piece locks into the next so neatly.

The diamond connectors in this pattern are genius—they make the hexies flow together so elegantly. I've already traced out three blocks and the geometry is remarkably satisfying to piece.
