The way the quilt pattern breaks down into precise foundation paper pieces makes piecing those intricate curves so much smoother. I’ve already started cutting fabric for my second one.

I was a little skeptical about buying a pattern sight unseen, but the paper pieces are cut precisely and the instructions for the Eye Candy Quilts tag are clear enough to follow even for a relative beginner. It took me a bit to figure out the ordering of the pieces, but once I did, it went together

The diagrams are laid out so intuitively that I didn't have to second-guess a single seam allowance, and the paper pieces themselves hold their shape beautifully through the sewing. I’ve already traced the next block from this pattern because it’s just that easy to follow.
