9" Equilateral Triangles

These large triangles cut my piecing time in half for a throw quilt I’m making. The 9-inch size is perfect for showing off big prints, and the paper is crisp enough to hold its shape through multiple folds.

I was worried 9" paper pieces would be flimsy at that size, but these hold their shape beautifully while I baste the fabric around the edges. These 9" triangles are cut perfectly even, which matters a lot when you're piecing a large quilt and every edge has to line up. The paper holds its shape without curling at the corners even after I've basted and pressed them a few times.
