5" Drunkard's Path Variation 01

I was a bit intimidated by the drunkard's path pattern, but this kit made it so easy — the paper pieces fold precisely and the templates are perfectly sized for my 5-inch blocks. The seam allowance is pre-marked, which saved me so much time on trimming. Very happy with this purchase.

Cut the first curved block this morning and the acrylic guide held its shape perfectly against my rotary cutter, no slipping at all. The paper pieces are crisp and the 5-inch size is just right for a pillow top I'm piecing.

I was a bit worried about the seam allowance being too fiddly, but the acrylic templates cut through fabric like butter and the paper pieces fit perfectly into the shape. It made piecing this drunkard's path variation a breeze for my latest quilt.
