3-1/2" Equilateral Triangles

I’ve been using these equilateral triangles for a quilt and the acrylic templates are sturdy enough to hold up to repeated tracing. Being able to pick my own seam allowance made it easy to match the paper pieces to my project.

The paper pieces cut accurately with crisp corners, so my hexagons are coming together perfectly without any wobbly seams. I bought the 1/4" seam allowance pack and it's saving me so much time trimming fabric.

I was worried the acrylic pieces would be too flimsy, but they hold their shape perfectly when basting. The 3/8-inch seam allowance makes it easy to get precise points on these equilateral triangles.
