12" Chrysanthemums/Octagon Block

The 12-inch octagon block template is exactly the right size for my quilt projects, and the chrysanthemum design lines are etched cleanly enough to trace without slipping. The acrylic feels sturdy, not flimsy at all, which I appreciate since I’m rough on my tools.

The acrylic templates are crisp and well-cut, making it easy to line up pieces precisely for this block pattern. I’ve already used them to cut fabric for two quilts, and the 12” size is perfect for a quick throw.

I was a little unsure about the octagon shape at first, but the 12-inch size is perfect for showing off the chrysanthemum design. The paper pieces held their shape well while I was basting them together.
